Getting to Know Each Other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at The Word Fellowship Church a great one!
Service Times
We meet together every Sunday and Wednesday:
- Sunday – First Service at 8:30 am, Sunday School for all ages at 10:00 am, and Second Service (Children’s Church) at 10:50 am
- Wednesday – Midweek Service and Twenty20 Youth at 7:30 pm

How Long Is A TWFC Worship Service?
In total, our Sunday morning services are about 75 minutes and our midweek service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with our worship team leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors shares an encouraging and faith-filled message about our life in Christ.
What About My Kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast while learning about Jesus and who God is for them – and we make this a priority.
*Special note: Nursery (ages 0-2) is only offered during our Sunday morning 2nd service (10:50 am), while Children’s Church (ages 3-kindergarten) is offered Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 10 am & during our Sunday morning 2nd service (10:50 am) and Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm. Kids class (1st-5th grade) and Twenty20 Youth (6th grade-12th grade) are offered during Sunday School (10 am) and Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm.

Where are you located?
We are located in Kenedy, Texas, right off of 181 South and FM 1145 (also called Flax Plant Road).
How should I dress?
How can I get connected in small groups?
How often do you hold communion?
We partake of communion as a congregation on the First Sunday of each month. Any born-again believer is welcome to join us in communion.
Do you do water baptisms and baby dedications?
Yes. If you are interested in water baptism or baby dedication, please see a staff member and they will assist you as these are scheduled when there is a need for them.
Where is the church’s lost and found located?
The lost and found is located at the back of the main auditorium, right in front of the sound booth. If you need assistance, please see the sound booth volunteer.
What is the music like?
Praise and Worship at TWFC is contemporary style.
What do I do with my baby?
During our Sunday morning 2nd service (10:50 am) we offer nursery care for babies (ages 0-2). During our Sunday morning 1st service (8:30 am) and Wednesday night service (7:30 pm), the Nursery is open for parents/guardians to use the facility. The Nursery has a screen that is streaming the live service so you don’t miss out on what’s going on.

What is in store for my teenagers?
Twenty20 Youth is all about introducing your teen to a loving Heavenly Father who has good plans for your youth, seeing their value in Him, and learning more about Him.
Who will be working with my children?
We have lead teachers that oversee and teach the children with volunteers who assist them. Our volunteers are carefully chosen to provide a safe and fun learning experience for your children.
Are your services interpreted into Spanish?
At this time, our services are not interpreted. However, you can check out our YouTube channel that has subtitles added to some of our services.
Is the church handicap accessible?
Yes. There is handicap parking directly in front of the church. There is a cement ramp incline leading up to the front entrance of the auditorium and double front doors into our foyer and the main auditorium.
Is there a nursing mother’s room?
Nursing mothers are welcome to nurse in our nursery. There is a rocking chair and also a screen displaying the live service so you don’t miss out on what’s happening.
